What’s Included?
An easier question for us to answer would be ‘what’s not included?’. We provide the marquee including wooden floor, carpet, lining, lighting, heating, chairs (with or without chair covers) and tables. We have two barns available for you, one for the dance party and the other just in case it rains for your reception drinks. We have a catering marquee for your caterer and a bar next to the dance barn with seating. We have outdoor seating next to both the reception marquee and the main house with fire pits, so that you can roast marshmallows with your nearest and dearest. The Secret Walled Garden is also included, which is often used for our wedding ceremonies. It has a beautifully lined wedding marquee and pagoda, and can fit up to 140 people. However, if you’d prefer, you can have your ceremony outside on the summer terrace or in our lovely red bricked barn. We have many more little surprises included that we like to keep for our bridal couples. So if you want to find out what those might be, you’ll just have to come and have a look around!
What are your prices?
We’re pretty unconventional here. We charge one fee so that it’s easier for you to budget. We believe that to get an idea of all of the lovely extras Pentre Mawr provides, it’s best to come and have a look around, and so you won’t find our prices on any websites. Can I book a room for a wedding night?
All of our wedding couples are asked to fill the rooms onsite for the night before and night of their wedding, and therefore we will be unable to book you separately into one of our rooms. If you are wondering if you have a place to stay at the venue, please ask the wedding couple. If you are not staying with us, please refer to our List of Local Accommodation for some great nearby alternatives.
What time is check-in for ‘night before the wedding’ guests?
Check-in is anytime after 3.30pm.
What are the transport options at the end of the wedding night?
If you’re not staying onsite with us, we would recommend organising your journey home a few days prior to the wedding. As we’re not on a main road, you unfortunately won’t be able to hail a taxi outside. Below are some local taxi companies who will be able to sort transport for you.
